Instagram strips normal empty lines when a line ends with a space. Copying from here trims trailing spaces and places an invisible Braille space on blank lines so your paragraphs stay separated.
Keep the hook before the 125-character “…more” marker so readers see the point before tapping.

Why does Instagram remove my line breaks?

Instagram collapses blank lines if the line before them ends with a space or emoji, or if multiple newlines are pasted without an invisible character between them.

What are the Instagram caption limits?

Up to 2,200 characters and up to 30 hashtags per post. In the feed, only the first ~125 characters show before “…more”.
