Good to know
- Works with public posts only. Videos from protected accounts can't be downloaded.
- X changes its website from time to time, which can stop the downloader working until we update it.
- Only download videos you made or have permission to reuse, and credit the creator. Downloading doesn't give you the rights to a video.
- Nothing is stored: the video goes straight from the platform to your device.
02FAQ
Questions
Which links work?
Links to a single post, like x.com/name/status/123 or twitter.com/name/status/123. The post has to be public and contain a video or GIF.
Why are there several qualities?
X stores each video at a few resolutions. Pick the highest for quality or a lower one for a smaller file.
Is it free?
Yes. There's no sign-up and no limit beyond a short pause if you download a lot very quickly.
